Voices, styles and languages

How to pick the right voice, visual style and language.

Voices

ShortLoom offers a range of natural AI voices. Preview each before generating - the delivery adapts to your video style, so a calm story sounds different from a high-energy ad. A talking-avatar video uses the same voice library, lip-synced to the on-screen presenter.

Styles

The style controls the script structure, pacing and visuals. Every style below is a real, selectable option in Create → Advanced options, not a category the product has since dropped:

  • Viral Story - hook-driven narrative with dramatic pacing.
  • Educational - teach one fascinating thing in 60 seconds.
  • Documentary - cinematic style, historical or scientific.
  • ASMR - calm, soothing visuals and soft narration.
  • Italian Brainrot - viral meme format, maximum chaos energy.
  • UGC Ad - authentic, product-style pitch.
  • Anime - hand-drawn cel animation, bold ink lines.

Picking a style changes more than the voiceover tone: it steers how the script is written, how scenes are framed, and (for Anime) the visual rendering engine itself.

Languages

Generate in 30+ languages. Pick the language at creation; the script, voiceover and captions all follow. You can re-render the same topic in another language to localise a winner - the script is written fresh in that language rather than machine-translated from the English draft, so idiom and pacing stay natural.

Changing your mind mid-review

If you used the free-draft path (see "Create your first video"), the voice, style and language are all still editable right up until you press Approve - only the render itself locks them in and spends credits.
