Publish faceless videos to TikTok.

Connect an account once. ShortLoom generates the 9:16 video, then posts it over TikTok's Content Posting API - from Library, on a schedule, or from Series.

Connect in Settings → Social accounts

TikTok's official OAuth asks for Direct Post (video.publish) and basic profile (user.info.basic). Your password never comes to ShortLoom. You can connect more than one TikTok account on the same workspace.

Director Mode drafts the script and every scene for free and shows the credit cost. Approve to render a 9:16 MP4. Rejecting the draft costs nothing.

Publish from Library, Schedule, or Series

From Library, the Direct-Post dialog lists the privacy levels your own TikTok account actually allows - read live from TikTok, not guessed. Series posts use the workspace default. The file goes from ShortLoom to TikTok over the official API.

What this page does not claim

Posts from ShortLoom stay Only me until TikTok approves the API client's content audit. We do not post to an unconnected account. We do not post to a Facebook Page - Instagram Reels are a separate connection. Analytics for posts published through ShortLoom refresh daily from TikTok's reporting, not on every dashboard open.

Common questions

Can ShortLoom publish directly to TikTok?
Yes. Connect a TikTok account in Settings → Social accounts, then publish a finished video from Library, queue it in Schedule, or let a Series post on its cadence. The REST API and MCP server use the same connected-account flow.
Will the video be public straight away?
Not by default. TikTok restricts unaudited API clients, so ShortLoom clamps posts to Only me until TikTok approves this app's content audit. After that, public Direct Post can be switched on. When you publish by hand you still pick from the privacy levels your own account allows, then the same clamp applies. Instagram Reels already publish publicly.
What if the video is longer than TikTok allows?
TikTok tells ShortLoom the max length for that account. A render over that limit is refused before upload - trim it or generate a shorter cut.
Can a Series auto-post to TikTok?
Yes. Point the series at a connected TikTok account and it publishes on that cadence, using the workspace default (Only me until the content audit). Quality checks can hold a finished episode back from auto-publishing so you can review it first; credits for a finished video still apply.
Does this also post to TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels?
The same generate path produces a vertical file for TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. Each destination needs its own connected account. This page is the TikTok connection; the other two are the same Settings → Social accounts flow.
