A render failed or is stuck
What happens to your credits and what to do.
Failed renders
If a render fails, the credits are automatically refunded - you don't lose anything. You'll see the refund in your balance history, tagged against the video that failed.
Stuck renders
Reeloop watches every render for exactly this. A render is given a fixed budget to finish before it's treated as stuck rather than just slow:
- Standard quality - about 12 minutes.
- 4K - about 30 minutes, since a native 4K render genuinely takes longer to composite.
Past that budget, the render is automatically marked failed, refunded, and you can regenerate immediately - you don't need to wait it out or contact support first. (Individual scenes have their own, separate stall budget - usually around 20 minutes - during the earlier scene-generation step, before the final render even starts; a scene that stalls that long is retried once automatically before the job gives up on it.)
Avoiding failures
- Keep the topic to one clear idea.
- Avoid special characters or very long prompts.
- If a specific style keeps failing on the same topic, try another style - some styles push harder on the underlying models and are more sensitive to an ambiguous prompt.
