Errors & troubleshooting

Fix failed renders, missing audio and stuck jobs.

Two things go wrong in practice: a finished video is missing audio or captions, or a render never finishes. Both are covered below, and both share the same guarantee - a render that fails or times out is refunded automatically, so troubleshooting is about getting a good video, never about getting your credits back.

Errors & troubleshooting - quick answers

How long before a render counts as stuck rather than slow?

12 minutes at standard quality, 30 minutes for 4K. Past that budget the render is marked failed, refunded and immediately regenerable - you do not have to wait it out.

Do I need to contact support for a stuck render?

No. The timeout, the failure and the refund are all automatic, so the fastest move is simply to regenerate. Support is worth it when the same topic fails twice in a row.

The video looks finished but has no sound. Why?

Voiceover and captions are two separate steps that run after the script and scenes are locked in, and captions are built from the voiceover's own timing. One step dropping out leaves a video that otherwise looks complete - which is why missing audio and missing captions almost always appear together.

A single scene is taking far longer than the rest.

Individual scenes have their own budget of roughly 20 minutes in the earlier scene-generation step, before the final render begins, and a scene that stalls that long is retried once automatically before the job gives up on it.
