Rollover & credit top-ups
Unused credits carry over, and packs top you up any time.
Rollover
Unused monthly credits roll over to the next cycle instead of expiring, so a quiet month doesn't waste your plan. There's no cap on how far they can build up while you're subscribed - a month with no renders simply carries its full allowance into the next one.
Credit packs
Need more mid-cycle? Buy a credit pack from Settings → Billing. Pack credits:
- never expire,
- stay on your account across plan changes (upgrading or downgrading doesn't touch them),
- are spent only once your other balances are used up.
Spend order
When you generate a video, ShortLoom draws credits in this order: rolled-over credits first, then the current cycle's monthly allowance, then pack credits last. Spending the oldest, closest-to-being-replaced balance first is what makes rollover actually useful instead of a number that just sits there - it's also why your monthly allowance can look untouched even after a render, if you were carrying rollover from a previous month. Your current balance, broken down by type, is always visible in the dashboard sidebar.
