Who owns the videos you make
You own your videos and can use them commercially.
Short answer
You own the videos you create with ShortLoom and can use them commercially - monetised channels, ads, client work - on any plan, including videos made during the free trial. There's no separate "commercial license" tier or upgrade to buy; ownership isn't gated behind a higher plan.
What that covers
- Post and monetise on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.
- Use in paid ads and sponsored content.
- Deliver to clients as part of agency work, under your own or your client's name.
Sensible limits
You can't resell ShortLoom itself, claim the underlying AI models as your own creation, or use the output for illegal or deceptive content (see the Acceptable Use policy). Platform-specific rules still apply to you as the publisher - most notably, several platforms now require disclosing when content is AI-generated or AI-assisted; that disclosure obligation sits with whoever publishes the video, not with ShortLoom, and it doesn't change based on which plan you're on.
