# Editing a ShortLoom video after generate

ShortLoom does not ship a multi-track timeline (no CapCut-style timeline, no clip trimming on a playhead).

After a cinematic (non-UGC) video finishes:

1. On the create result screen, **Edit scenes**.
2. Or Library → the same **Edit scenes** modal.

You can:

- Regenerate one scene from a new prompt (charged at the job's video-model rate).
- Replace a scene with stock or an uploaded clip.
- Insert, delete, or reorder scenes.
- Restyle captions, music mood, voice, and 5s/10s scene trims as one recompose.
- Export a variant as a new library row instead of overwriting.

The voiceover track from the original generate stays in sync unless you restyle voice. Spoken-script and split/merge edits belong on the **Director draft**, before you approve and pay.

UGC jobs cannot use the scene editor.

Clean (caption-free) export is available from the library editor where that control is shown.
